Meet Your Baker

Hi! I'm Cindy.

I'm a second-generation Chinese American pastry artist with Vietnamese heritage, and the founder of Sweet Dream Bakes.

I've always loved creating beautiful things—from drawing and flowers to plated desserts and celebration cakes. Baking became the place where all of those passions came together.

My love for pastry began over ten years ago after making a Bûche de Noël for Christmas and watching someone's face light up when they tasted it. That simple moment stayed with me and eventually inspired me to pursue pastry professionally.

After graduating from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York, I continued exploring desserts through pop-ups, celebrations, and creations inspired by my experiences growing up and traveling throughout Asia.

Today, Sweet Dream Bakes is my way of celebrating what people love—through desserts inspired by culture, memory, and the stories we carry.
